Its not to bad.

I feel it could use a little more EQ work and you have to keep in mind there are a LOT of remakes / mixes to this song. Though over all you did a good job working the instruments to sounding like or close to the original. Keep it up!

Thanks for your review! Yes, I did work hard on this. My original remake was made through looking at guitar tabs, so it was a hell of a lot of work to transfer each and every one of those notes to the piano roll. This remake has those notes, except changed up a bit. However, I had to manually add the bass... again... and add my own drumline. Anyways, thank you for your review.

I think the problem really is.

Your choice of instruments and drum pattern. You put a lot of time into this i'm sure but it almost sounds like you didn't put much into it at all. Not saying its a bad song i'm saying you need to find better instrumentals for this. Hearing the melody change in the same instrument (i'd say there's a total of 4 patterns here??) gets boring and hard to listen to after a while. Keep on the music your best bet may be to look up some better VST's and soundfonts.

You know, i think you're right there.... I think the drumline is pretty good for the first two, but yeah... it kinda dies after that.

And you're right about the variety too... I guess i just found a cool sound and decided to roll with it. It was kinda cool for the temple of time, and okay for epona's song i think... But the rest i should have switched.

Huh, its got a cool feel to it.

I could hear this being used for a few different reasons in a movie. Though its a bit different for my tastes. The opening effects were pretty nicely done. Its almost a mixture of relaxed and creepy! Over all keep up the music!

Very nice to listen to.

It does have that feel of an isle and such. Great use of synths for the Background. Very nice piano! Its a good change up to an already great song. I really have nothing other to say but that. Wonderful work.

Nice nice.

The music in general keeps my attention i love listening to it. The rapping is pretty nice. The rythem is pretty nice and everything does work for what it is. All in all I'm about all reviewed out lol did a small spree just now so i'm tired.. Keep it up fella's both of ya'll!

I like the background meaning.

I can't say its really my thing bro. I think thats mostly my problem with this song. Your flow has come a long long way (i've said this a LOT of times) but its true. I like the story this track tells. For sure. I think i was even telling you some of the stuff i thought in MSN earlier about how i feel hip hop is going. I like the end lol it just goes SILENT! ahhh silence.. Kidding =) Keep it up buddy!

not to bad.

I think you may of over done it with some of your EQ work with the delay. However i do like the choice of instruments in this. It does sound a bit too simple in some spots. At 1:18 it kinda turned me off to the song. I could of done without that sound effect from the game for sure. Though it does transtion the song into a quicker and better flow. As far s the drums go i'm not hearing anything to original. Some of the melody i can't really place anything original either other then some spots. Over all its not a bad song.

Very nice indeed.

The 8 bit sound usually just frustrates me in a song but i think you did what you set out for in this. it has a really cool epic sound to it. The whole song flows rather nicely. Very 9 worthy. It sounds good and i refuse to take a point off just because i don't like 8 bit all that much haha. Over all freaking great job!

Oh, wow!

My only real complaint is that its a lil repetitive (spelling?) but other then that this is a helluva sexy track man! Very fun to listen to. its got a great rythem to it. Almost reminds me of a happy moment. Nicely EQ'd for sure.
