absolutely love it. The opening was pretty good. I think though I could of heard some higher octave piano keys to perhaps give a little more backing. The song really turns into something pretty magical as it progresses though. I think maybe a backing cello or perhaps a string of some sort through out the song would help the feel also. However the song feels very much like a awesome fight song for a rpg!

Good work bro!

I dunno, brother. Glad you found it and enjoyed!! Hope all is well!!

Reminds me of an old school game song like possibly Secret of Mana. Very festive for the time and it gives off that rather wonderful Merry Christmas vibe that you were going for. Its pretty snazzy to listen to. Only complaint is this: some of your clips (vox) in the middle of the song takes a way from the actual beauty of the melody in my opinion. Other then that its very lovely

Keep up the music!

Thanks for the review! Glad you like it :)
I personally liked the vox on it, the "Merry Christmas" sample was a very nice touch, I guess you meant the other vocals, I agree with you, but just at some point. Second vox fx was a bit odd, yeah, but the last one, I think it was on place, it makes the track less... boring, I think, and its a part of the song that has scratches and low bass, so, it fits well.
Anyways, thank you so much for telling me where I was wrong, :D

Hello Devil my old friend =).

You have a tongue on ya. I can't say its totally my style but i can say its pretty cool to listen to how fast you can go with this beat! Good work brutha.

Cyberdevil responds:

Heeey wyldfyre1! Long time! :) Glad to see you're back around and reviewing as usual, and thanks for the honest comment. It does have a bit unorthodox a beat, glad you got something out of it anyway!

it's been too long!! nice hearing from you WF1

I hear room for improvement. I think your crashes should be a little louder and more umph to your bass drums however that could just be my own personal preference. I do like your piano. I think that a second melody in with the first piano in the early part of the song wold help also. For the most part its a good listen and pretty fun.

Keep up the music!

Thx!

Holy cow, color me impressed. I was almost going into this expecting a half cracked chip tune song however you put some amazing work into this. I have absolutely no complaints about this song. I don't find it as a perfect song but i still think you did an amazing job on it. Something that has me tapping my feet for sure! I could see a 8 bit character headbanging to this hah. Great work.

wow thanks!! Thank you for the awesome review!

haha got my five =) Lovely work with the 80's vibe. I think some claps would increase the whole 80's feeling though. All in all you got your self a good song here. I bet you could add to this and make it even more magical.

Thanks for the review :D

I did have a few claps in there but they were buried under the snare

Absolutely beautiful. When I write or listen to any orchestrated music i feel it should bring out some sort of emotion and i think you hit the nail on the head here. Feels to me almost as if a love scene on a movie or a death scene. Wonderful use of strings and piano. Though i feel you could of used a little more piano in this to bring out that beauty slightly. Also, Maybe some timpani drums would add to the epic-ness of this song. Finally the abrupt ending kind of threw me off some but other then that this song is rather amazing. I will be adding it to my list of favorites. Good work

larrynachos responds:

I have to keep things simple, because if I add too much stuff my computer can't handle it, and Kontakt starts dropping samples when exporting. I'd love to make huge epic orchestral songs, but my computer just can't handle it. Ah, and the ending was abrupt to portray death, in a way.

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed this piece!

Its a little repetitive, but catchy! I think maybe dropping the beat at one point and adding a solo for that beautiful piano you have going on would be a pretty nice addition to this. The song itself though reminds me of a cool chase scene from a video game or movie. So I do think you came across with what you were going for (If that is what you were going for hehe). Keep up the good work!

saucybird responds:

Thank ya wyldfyre1! It was what I was going for, something chase-y and intense hehe ;)
